New Target Rent calculations for 2024/2025 are now on our website. Our free excel Target Rent Calculator now includes the approaching 7.70% rent increase that will be applied to new homes in April.
Anyone needing to calculate target/formula rents can download the file and use it to calculate target rents or new lettings while waiting for their appraisal systems to be updated.
Homes England published average grant rates per unit by tenure across the regions. The grant rates for rented homes appear below our expectation and in our opinion these may be too low to sustain new build homes going forward.
